Air Conditioning

Backed up by 20 years of industry experience, we pride ourselves as being EXPERTS in this field. We offer fault diagnosis, repair, routine maintenance but also a bespoke design, supply and installation service. Our expertise extends to Air Conditioning in Ipswich, Suffolk, Norfolk, and Essex, ensuring top-quality solutions for residential and commercial needs.

Air conditioning works by using the principles of refrigeration. By raising and lowering the temperature and pressure of a refrigerant, heat can be transferred from one place to another. Refrigerant pumped through the internal air conditioning unit; or evaporator coil absorbs the heat from the air passing through it. The refrigerant is pumped to the outdoor condenser coil where air again passes through it, this time the outside air absorbs the heat cooling the refrigerant.

Most air conditioning units are now fitted as standard with a ‘four-way valve’, this valve reverses the flow of the refrigerant turning the outdoor unit coil into the evaporator and in the indoor unit coil in to the condenser, this ‘reverse cycle process’ is why air conditioning units are now referred to as ‘heat pumps’.

Using inverter driven fans, compressors and reverse cycle technology air conditioning is now an effective, viable and cost efficient alternative way of heating and controlling the comfort of your living or work environment.

We special in bespoke design, installation, fault diagnostic, repair and servicing at what we believe is a competitive and affordable rate.

We also sell and hire out portable air conditioning units to provide temporary or emergency cooling but also as an option if a fixed static system is not possible.

British weather is typically unpredictable, which is on reason why an air conditioning heat pump system is the logical renewable heating and cooling option.

We offer an emergency call out service 24/7 365 days a year.

Having an extension built? Loft converted? Garden room built? Why not have an air conditioning unit (Air to Air Source Heat Pump) fitted to provide efficient affordable heating and cooling.

Most systems are now equipped with wifi connectivity and web apps to assist the efficient operation of the equipment.

My air conditioning isn’t working?

There can be many reasons why an air source heat pump isn’t working. Checking the indoor filters are clean, the controller is in the right mode? (Usually an icicle for cooling or a sun for heating), Check the power switch is ON!

My air conditioning unit has flashing lights?

Flashing lights are a way for the unit to tell the servicing engineer what has caused the system to fail. Take note of the light sequence before you make a call for a repair to save money during the engineers visit.

My air conditioning is leaking water!

As the system cools it removes moisture from the air, this moisture needs somewhere to go before it overflows, blockages or failures can cause a water leak. Although there are various other reasons so put a bucket under the leak turn the system off and call and service engineer.

My air conditioning isn’t cooling?

If the unit is in the correct setting, the lights are on, the fans inside and out are running but there is no cooling then you will need an F-Gas qualified engineer to check the system over as this could possibly mean a refrigerant leak.

We pride ourselves on our ability to get to diagnose and fix any issue with any heat pump.
